The New York City All-Day Singing takes place on the Saturday before the third Sunday in September.

We meet on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Church of the Village, 7th Avenue and 13th Street, to sing from the 2025 Edition of The Sacred Harp. Registration at 9:30, singing starts at 10:00, but we will be allowed in to start setup at 8:00. If you can come early to help, please do. 2025 Edition books will be for sale; there will also be loaners if you are not ready to invest. The singing will run to 3:30. Our Chair, Sara, asks that we take the time to click GOING on the FB post so that we can get a slightly less vague idea of the expected attendance.

The social will be at Desert 5 Spot, 94 Wythe Ave. in Williamsburg, Brooklyn; it is just a short walk from the Bedford Ave stop on the L train, which you can catch at 14th Street. Sara has organized music and dancing, to no one's surprise. Bring your cowboy boots and fringe (and appropriate instruments to jam). 

Sunday's workshop on the 2025 Edition with native New Yorker and Revision-Music Committee member Lauren Bock will take place at the Anthroposophical Society at 138 West 15th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues, from noon to 2:00. (Thanks to Jon Adler for connecting us with this space.)

Please join us for the New York City All-Day Singing on Saturday, September 14, 2024. We will gather at historic Brooklyn Friends Meeting located at 110 Schermerhorn Street from 10am to 3:30 with dinner on the grounds.

All are welcome! No singing experience is necessary! Loaner books will be available.

The meetinghouse is wheelchair accessible and has outdoor and indoor space available. There are two all-gender restrooms on the ground floor.

Covid protocol: please take a Covid test before your arrival, we will have extras at the registration table.

There will be additional (extra! bonus!) singing from the Shenandoah Harmony on Sunday. We will meet from 1-3:30 in the same location, Brooklyn Friends meeting house.

The 2023 New York City All-Day Singing was held on Saturday, September 16th at the historic Brooklyn Friends Meeting. 110 Schermerhorn Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201.

We sang from 10:00am-3pm. Registration and breakfast started at 9:30. The details:
