The New York City All Day Singing is coming right up.
We meet on Saturday, September 20, at the Church of the Village, 7th Avenue and 13th Street, to sing from the 2025 Edition of The Sacred Harp. Registration at 9:30, singing starts at 10:00, but we will be allowed in to start setup at 8:00. If you can come early to help, please do. 2025 Edition books will be for sale; there will also be loaners if you are not ready to invest. The singing will run to 3:30. Our Chair, Sara, asks that we take the time to click GOING on the FB post so that we can get a slightly less vague idea of the expected attendance. The social will start at 4:30, location TBA.
There are Sacred Harp singings in New York City most Wednesdays and some weekends. No singing experience is necessary, and all are welcome to attend. Books are available for loan or purchase at every gathering.
